Villa les Hauts is a luxury newly built cut stone property built in the traditional style, on a small exclusive prize-winning development overlooking the old village of Durban Corbieres in the Langudoc region of Southern France.
The accomodation consists of two double and one twin bedroom, one ensuite shower/WC and a further bathroom and WC, living/dining room and kitchen, private heated swimming pool, sun deck and terraces for outdoor dining.
The house is furnished very comfortably to a high standard by a professional interior designer. There is Satellite TV receiving stations in French and English, DVD player and DVD library.
In the kitchen there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
Outside seating for 6 in a sheltered terrace, with a landscaped garden with additional seating areas and views of the medieval Cathar Castle of Durban Corbieres. Teak deck with heated swimming pool.

DURBAN CORBIERES
Durban Corbieres is in the heart of the Cathar country, and is in the middle of the Corbieres wine producing region.
The village has a supermarket, bakery, bank, petrol station as well as a bar/restaurant and other local shops.
There are other restaurants in nearby towns and villages and excellent seafood restaurants especially in the coastal regions.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SURROUNDING AREA
The village of Durban Corbieres is in the heart of Cathar country. The history of the Cathars is well documented and there are excellent guides to all the local castles. It is also an area of Fitou, Corbiers and Minervois wine production with many opportunities for tasting the local produce.
The beautiful white beaches of the Mediterranean are only an hour away at Leucate and Le Franqui. In the winter there are ski resorts at Font Romeu in the Pyrennees only two hours away.
For those wishing to explore Northern Spain the border is only about one and a half hour's drive away.
The historic walled city of Carcassonne is only an hour away. Narbonne with it's covered market and Sunday morning open air market is only thirty minute by car.
