DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION Taking a small road off the main road from Beziers to St Chinian, one finds the charming Domaine St Joseph, cool under the shade of trees. It is an 18th century farmhouse that has been lovingly renovated by the present owners, complete with a figurine of St Joseph, set in an alcove in the wall blessing all who stay in the Domaine. Leaving one's car, (a space is available in the garage), one crosses a large lawn where there is a terrace against the side of the house, surrounded by roses, for the sole use of those using the apartment, with patio furniture for taking in the sun. There are views on all sides of vineyards. Entering the courtyard gate, immediately to the left, after climbing a few steps to the first floor balcony, one enters into the kitchen/living/dining room of the apartment. Here there is a small kitchen area with cooking facilities, refrigerator, as well as dining table, chairs, 2 armchairs, around a traditional open fireplace, with a window to one side overlooking the courtyard garden. At the back of this room a door leads to the double bedroom, with window, overlooking vineyards, and with en-suite bathroom (WC, shower, and washbasin). The apartment (35 sq. meters) has been tastefully decorated throughout to a high standard. |
