Places to visit:

Beziers: Vibrant town on River Orb. Feria in August is a must go to event. Huge Cathedral, with pretty square. Les Neuf ecluses on Canal du Midi is worth visiting as well as the local museums.
Agde. Fortress Cathedral in this pretty fishing town on the River Herault as it approaches the Mediterranean.
Cap d'Agde. Year round seaside resort catering for all tastes from naked naturists who have their own town (50,000 in Summer), to the more conservative areas, with Musée de l'Ephebe with greek and roman relics, and the Aquarium.
Sete. One of France's largest fishing ports, the old part of town, sports attractive restaurants along the Venice like Grand canal. Good Modern Art gallery; Centres to the two great balladeers of France - Paul Valery, and Georges Brassens. Don't miss the water jousting in Summer!
View Larger Map 		Pezenas. One of the most beautiful towns in SW France - possible to visit all year In the 17th c became the center of art and culture, when Moliere made it his home. The royal court had grand hotels all over town. Now we enjoy the wonderful heritage. Great for flea markets, antiques, and the Saturday Market is well known.
Montpellier. University and Capital town of Languedoc. Gorgeous old center with splendid houses and museums. Bofill's 20C architecture Antigone. Walk along the cosmopolitan place de la Comédie and visit Musée Fabre. Young town - with great music and don't miss the Dance Festival!
Bouzigues, and Etang de Thau. If you love oysters and mussels, visit Bouzigues, where you can feast - and see the local museum - which tells all shell fishing!
Valmagne Abbey. Largest wine producing Monastery in France - Lovely cloisters!
