This delightful renovated 2-bedroom stone house with roof terrace and outside courtyard offers a wonderful way to experience the French lifestyle.

Located in the heart of one of the most sought after and unspoilt areas of the department, in an authentic Languedocienne working village nestled between the mountains of the Languedoc National Park and the Mediterranean Sea. Autignac is a quiet and easily accessible village of the Faugères appellation close to the Languedoc National Park.

This property has been completely and tastefully renovated in 2004. Lying right in the centre of the village on the site of the original 11th century fort, it is a cozy typical stone village house on three floors.

Ground floor: bathroom with toilet, laundry area - dining area – full kitchen with dishwasher opening onto the courtyard. The courtyard is ideal for having dinners al fresco in the balmy temperature of southern France. There is an outside light but we generally prefer the ambience of candlelight. There are also two bikes available for your use.

First floor: Lounge - The lounge has a spacious feel. The floor is tiled and there is a wood burning stove. There is a DVD player and a TV which receives free to air channels including BBC / Sky News and some movie channels. On one side of the lounge is a sofa bed which folds easily into a comfortable full sized double bed. Beside the lounge is a bedroom with double bed, dresser and en-suite bathroom.

2nd floor: airy vaulted master bedroom with en-suite, direct access to roof terrace with table and chairs for morning coffees in the sun.
