Charming, renovated (600-year-old) stone house with roof terrace in the middle of atmospheric 1000-year-old French wine-country village. Set amidst beautiful vineyards, Romanesque towns and villages, the Herault river, and wine chateaux, in a small village with stunning medieval church, two bakeries, a cafe and a restaurant.

House is in medieval village center with less than one minute walk to bakery, shops, and is ideal for a couple or family of 4, but can sleep 6 - 8 (3 double and 2 single beds). Features small roof terrace, 2 bathrooms, wi-fi, CD player, microwave, and washing machine. Linens are included.

This renovated, 600-year-old house is in the medieval center of a 1000-year old working wine village in the vineyards near the Herault river. A charming and peaceful spot for a holiday, with many things to do nearby: historical, romantic and active. The beauty of the Southern French countryside is very affecting.
The house consists of a renovated cave at street level, with a double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, and sitting area. This part of the house stays deliciously cool in the high summer.

On the next floor are the renovated kitchen and dining room, and the master bedroom with French doors and balcony.
Living room
The next level include a very comfortable living room, a study, and a renovated master bathroom. A beautiful custom-made wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, to a small sitting / sleeping room and the small private rooftop terrace. In the evening, the famous swifts of the region fly all around, and the bells from the neighbouring medieval church ring off the hours.
Fresh, regional, home-cooked meals are available delivered to the house for €25/person (dinners only).

Many nearby activities, including beach, horseback riding, hiking, medieval abbeys and churches, grottoes, antiques, museums and daily village markets. The Mediterranean beaches are just 30 minutes' drive.
