Languedoc-Roussillon comprises of the Lozere, Gard, Herault,
Aude, and Pyrenees Orientales departements.
To the west it is bordered by the Mediterranean
that stretches from the Rhone to the Pyrenees, and provides the longest sandy
beaches on the Mediterranean, in France.
Languedoc is unspoilt France, with
a myriad of abbeys, castles, architectural achievements (for example - the
Cité at Carcassonne, Pont du Gard, Canal du Midi) and stunning landscapes.
